My name's Ameira! I'm currently in grade 9 and will be turning 15 in April. A few things I enjoy would be going camping with my friends and family in the summer, snowboarding, art, and travelling.
I don't have just one favourite colour, but when beading, I find myself more connected to the green and brown earth tones, or the beads that are different colours and patterns, yet the same kind of crystal. That's what I incorporated when making these. The two crystals I used were picture jasper and green moss agate, and even though it's not a large variety of different crystals, the different patterns and shades makes every one unique. I love this shade of green and thought it worked perfect with the jasper. When designing malas, I pick out one colour that I like and hold it up to the other beads, deciding what colours compliment it the most. I found that this shade of light brown and beige fit best with the dark green and once they were put together, I immediately knew I had to make something out of them. When I look at this, it reminds me of looking into a forest and really being in nature. I think that's why I love this so much.
